Tolentino, Ar. Henry Yap, Assistant Secretaries Atty. Angelito Aguila and Frank Gonzaga, Director Mark Diamante, and Atty. Don Dieta, the forum provided a platform for housing stakeholders to present proposals aimed at accelerating housing production and enhancing private sector participation in the National Shelter Program, particularly under the 4PH initiative.SHDA developers put forward key recommendations such as the inclusion of horizontal projects under 4PH, developmental loan subsidies, alternative land acquisition modes, streamlined permitting processes, standard timelines, CLUP and DAR clearance issues, enhanced developer incentives, utilization of escrow funds for facilities and management, and adjusted price ceilings.In response, DHSUD committed to forming Technical Working Groups (TWGs) with private sector representation to address these concerns, focusing on simplifying business processes, refining 4PH guidelines for horizontal developments, and ensuring regulatory support for sustainable housing development.#SHDA #SHDAinAction #SHDACommunity #DHSUD ...
